A.A. Launches New Seventh Tradition Contributions Platform

The General Service Office (G.S.O.) announced the launch of a new online contributions platform on October 21, 2026. The updated system makes it easier for A.A. members, groups, districts, and areas to make Seventh Tradition contributions that support the work of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The new platform offers more payment options, greater flexibility, and improved tools for managing contributions.

More Ways to Make Contributions

Members and groups can now make online contributions using:

  • U.S. bank accounts (ACH)
  • Canadian bank accounts (EFT)
  • Credit or debit cards
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Venmo and PayPal

Contributions can also be made in Canadian dollars. Members may choose to cover payment processing costs, and anonymous contributions remain available.

New A.A. Contributions Platform is Live, highlighting additional payment methods, recurring contribution options, and Seventh Tradition giving.

Easier Contributions for Groups and Districts

The updated platform makes it easier to search for and identify A.A. groups, districts, and areas when making contributions.

Members can also make contributions online on behalf of a district or area.

These improvements should be especially helpful for group treasurers and other trusted servants responsible for forwarding Seventh Tradition contributions.

More Control Over Recurring Contributions

Members who make recurring contributions will have additional options to manage them, including:

  • Changing contribution amounts
  • Pausing or resuming contributions
  • Scheduling contributions for a future date
  • Changing the frequency of recurring contributions

Important: New recurring contributions must initially be set up as monthly. The frequency can be changed afterward through the contributions portal.

There is no separate password to remember. Members can access their contribution information through a secure link sent to their email address.

Important Changes to Know

G.S.O. has also announced a few changes:

  • Saved payment information: Payment methods saved on the previous platform must be entered again.
  • Existing recurring contributions: Members with recurring contributions will receive separate instructions from G.S.O.
  • Group acknowledgments: Individual contributors can no longer designate a group to receive acknowledgment for their personal contribution, previously called “soft credit.”

Where to Make Contributions

Members and groups can access the new platform through the official A.A. website:
