Home Group and the General Service Conference

The home group is the foundational level of A.A., where members find a sense of belonging and take on service responsibilities. It is the source of the “group conscience,” and its voice is carried to other levels of service through a General Service Representative (GSR). The A.A. General Service Conference is the annual gathering where GSR’s, via their elected delegates, connect the group conscience to the broader service structure of Alcoholics Anonymous.
